Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation gets registration
* Board of Directors of the company will be held soon, says NIT Chairman Shyam Wardhane Staff Reporter The ambitious Metro Rail project for the city has moved a step forward with Nagpur Metro Rail Company Limited (NMRCL) getting registered under Companies Act. Now, the Board of Directors of the company will meet soon and discuss roadmap for the project. Maharashtra Government had applied for registration of NMRCL to Registrar of Companies in Mumbai. Already, Central and State Governments had given their nod to register the company for expediting Metro Rail project work in Nagpur. However, due to some technical snag on part of Registrar of Companies, NMRCL’s registration got delayed a bit. As a result, officials of Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) had to waste their time in vain at the office of Registrar of Companies for a few days.
